The enzymes activate when they touch organic sources like, urine, animal waste and blood. Pet Peeves works by “eating up” bacteria, ammonia, and other matter that makes urine stain and stink.

WHAT ARE ENZYMES AND HOW DO THEY WORK?

Our microbe blend uses non-pathogenic, “good” bacteria to digest organic matter such as urine, wastes, soils, blood and stains. When the “good” bacteria in Pet Peeves comes into contact with the organic matter (pet urine, wastes, blood and soils) it produces specifically designed enzymes which feed off the organic matter and break it down into smaller pieces. These smaller pieces become “food” for the bacteria. This cycle continues until there is no ‘food’ left. Leaving you soiled areas clean, fresh and odour free.
