As a result, Pet Peeves works by “eating up” bacteria, ammonia, and other matter that makes urine stain and stink.

WHAT ARE ENZYMES AND HOW DO THEY WORK?

Our microbe blend uses non-pathogenic, “good” bacteria to digest organic matter such as urine, wastes, soils, blood and stains. When the “good” bacteria in Pet Peeves comes into contact with the organic matter (pet urine, wastes, blood and soils)  they immediately produce specifically designed enzymes.  These enzymes then feed off the organic matter, breaking it down into smaller pieces.  As a result, these smaller pieces become “food” for the bacteria. This cycle continues until no food remains, leaving your soiled areas clean, fresh and odour free.
